The Resveratrol Rip-Off
August 31, 2009

Do you know what makes me soooo mad? It's the unfortunate truth about a company who exploits a wonderful new supplement called Resveratrol.... and tells you can order a test trial bottle for only 99¢, supposed to arrive within 3 days, and then they don't ship it.

Consumer beware of the 2 week trial for a few cents as it will cost you $90 and miles of aggravation. This can make your life a living nightmare!!! I went ahead and tested the "ordering of this substandard miracle supplement" back in May of 2009... and these are the ridiculous problems I incurred...

You wait and wait and wait. Other things like traveling, or children, or the end of school come into your life, and you just figure the "new and exciting supplement" that everyone is talking about will show up eventually, but eventually never comes!!! They tell you it's the same Resveratrol as seen and promoted (with supporting videos) on the Oprah Show, Dr. Oz, 60 minutes and the Barbara Walters Show.... but don't believe them!!! They are scammers and rip-off artists. They are ruining the great product of Resveratrol by
1. not sending it to you, and
2. by charging you a hidden $87 fee. It seems that if you do not cancel your "order" within 2 weeks of "arrival" that never arrives (what order?) they bill you for a 3 month supply... which also never arrives!!!

Listen carefully... DO order Resvertarol, but from Life Extensions!!! Don't order Res from on-line on one of those ads adjacent to your Facebook page or MySpace or Hotmail. These people have no name and no address (except somewhere in florida), with no head office to report to.

These are "cyber squatters" and they are out there to defraud millions of people... They should be under criminal investigation, and ARE being sued by Oprah and Dr. Oz for misrepresentation.

You have to take up hours and hours of you time with the bank who tells you (in my case it was Chase Bank) that you will have to close your account and reopen a different account in order to "maybe" get your money back, "after they research it"... so your money is in holding for a long, long time or even forever!.... Insanity at it's best... So not helpful, not customer service driven by any means... From the tellers who never know anything as they are not given the knowledge, tools, or training, to the customer service help desk in the corporate office who just gives you a flat "this is all we can do" in a very patronizing tone of voice.

I finally went into a small town branch of my bank and this wonderful "Personal Banker" Jill Moe helped me within 5 minutes. She cut all the bureaucracy out of the loop and will get the money back within a few days... much to be said for "small towns"... and people who care...

Don't buy into these ads and make sure you order your Resveratrol from a reputable company like Life Extensions. This product works, you get what you pay for, and the price is right... This test run for my viewers has become a 4 month nightmare that is only just beginning to clear.

Resveratrol from Life Extensions (which you can order from my site) is all they say it is, and it works!

Tell me what you think:
